An entity has to take IEC registration (IEC Code) when it wants to Import or Export goods inside or outside India.
-An application has to be prepared and submitted online for IEC registration.
-Required documents are to be uploaded along with the Application online.
-The Government (DGFT) then verifies the application and grants the Registration.
